NFB will disclose information when required to do so by any regulatory authority (like the Financial Services Board) and the regulators they appoint for the various financial sectors by any stock exchange and its related clearing house to comply with any relevant legislation, or any legal process to protect and defend NFB’s rights and property (including NFB’s intellectual property).

Sometimes we may need to share aggregate information (for example, demographic data) with our stakeholders and business partners, but we do not disclose to them information about our individual users.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION BY OTHER PARTIES

Web sites that have links on our web site may collect personal information about you when you use their links. NFB does not control the collection or use of such information. This privacy policy does not apply to these advertisers and their web sites.

NFB is committed to maintaining high levels of integrity, professionalism and ethical behaviour in all its relationships. Our Conflict of Interest Management Policy has been compiled in terms of Section 3A(2)(a) of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, No. 37 of 2002 (FAIS) General Code of Conduct.

In terms of the General Code of Conduct a financial services providers (FSP) must take all necessary steps to eliminate any practices and/or services that may create a conflict between their interests and the interests of an existing or potential client. NFB will at all times endeavour to ensure that existing and potential conflicts of interest are properly managed and/or mitigated should they be unavoidable or eliminated completely if possible.
